How can I get my hair back to its natural color after dying it way more than once??

My hair is naturally dark blonde and I have been changing the color of my hair for about 3 years now, and it has been anything from hot pink to every color in the rainbow. I have been a permanently dyed red head for about 6 months, and I want to go back to my natural color, but I'm not sure what course of action I should take. Going to a salon is not an option for me, so please don't suggest it. Should I dye it all blonde( I know it will turn bright orange), and then go from there, or what??

cut it as short as you can. it will seem to grow out faster, and you'll have a hot new do.

ok. ive done the same thing, maybe cause i do hair .its hard to go back to your natural color if you dont wanna let it grow out. you gonna have to bleach it out and then find a color thats close to your natural color that has a TONER in it, try a Sally's.

Your hair may be dameged by now. Start by getting your hair back in condition. You did n't indicate the lenght of your hair. Loreal has a great hair color line. I would recommend selecting a color 1 shade drker then your natural haircolor, and then highlight it. They have a kit that has both in it. If it turns red, then apply the loreal toner for blonde hair to tone it down. Let your hair grow out and touch up as needed

Black women: whats's a good flat iron that works well on African hair (natural)?

i'm not african american, but i know some poeple who have used these straighteners and said that they worked for african american hair:

Sedu: $125- folica.com

CHI: $98- folica.com

Solia: $88- folica.com

you can never really buy a cheap straightener that works. just invest in one of these and they'll do the job.

all of these are much mor expensive if you buy them in a salon or store, so i would recommend getting them online.

Can a Hair Dresser help me go natural and not relax my hair again?

My hair texture is not silky. I won't elaborate for i'm afraid i might affend a group, culture. Which is not my intent. Anyway,

I relaxed my hair about 3 weeks ago. I want to let the relaxer grow out. I want to go natural and not relax my hair anymore. I want to have natural curls, waves. How can get my hair like this. What products can i use? Should i go to the hair dresser then maintain it after or would u be able to give me some advice.

You can let it grow out, but you need to go to a hair dresser so they can help you maintain it, or you will be the talk of the town, not in a good way.

Most hair dressers want to you come to keep their business up and they're gonna promote hair relaxers and stuff.

If you want to go natural you'll probably have to do dreads, twists or braids (maybe with a little help from extensions or trax). Be sure to feed the hair with silicia gel tablets.

If you do dreads or twists, use something like beeswax to keep the hair in position.

they cant really help you, you just have to not relax it.

If you want to go natural, just let it grow and keep getting trims. That is what I am currently trying to do to get rid of damaged permed hair.
