Does wetting your hair strip it of your hair's natural oils?

I can't wash my hair alot but I need to take showers everyday. Is it ok to take a shower and get your hair wet but not wash it?

Yes, but it won't look very nice. Have you thought of using a shower cap?

It's fine. The only thing that gets the oil out of your hair is the surfactant quality in the shampoo (meaning the shampoo has particles that cause the oils to bead up and roll off the hair), so get your hair as soaked as you like!

No.

I wash and condition my hair every other day - and use conditioner everyday - works for me!

If you want to build up some natural oils don't wet it or shampoo it for about 2-3 days. Then go to every two days.

Wetting your hair is pretty useless,it makes it stinky,I

would imagine.Use body sprays and perfumes if you are going to wet it.Oils build better without the wetness. If you shampoo awhole lot then you will need to use mild shampoo

and condition regularly.I've heard of wetting and conditioning

without shampooing.Maybe you could try that.
