Depending on the length you want your hair, why don't you just get some weave? i got micro braids, and the hair was VERY curl, so even when it started to mess up, it still looked natural. I got so many compliments on that hairstyle.

If your hair is short and you want it to look curly, you can always put a kit on it. You know how guys put that S Curl on their hair? get yourself a kit girl n make it work.

Try getting twists in your hair, then take them out after a while. My mom did that once and it looked really nice.

Okay I know this is going to sound goofy but I have done hair for probably more years than you are old,(I have a license)but here it is...You need to get a permanent..yep,but theres a catch to it...Use only larger rods when you wrap it with the rods..Larger!...and maybe spiral wrap it,but basic wrap style is okay too..It is curly yet controlled curl..trust me it works!%26gt;=) good luck!
