well a messy look would look like you didn't comb your hair in the morning but if you have your hair wet and then put tounds of gel in it looks wet and messy its not easy to comb but its worth it!

A very good product is called texture dirt its a textures past... you can get it at wallgreens but it works very good just follow the directions on the back! its in a round cylinder container and its like a past/gel it works good for Mohawk's and the rugged look!
